♥ Issues No More pls...............
Where shall I start?
How should I begin?
What am I to say?
It's getting very tiring by the day.
Our musical is really....*faint*
Pls don't get me wrong.
I love rehearsing with all my babies, every single day. We rehearse from Mon to Fri, 1pm to 5pm. Some days I'll go thru with different groups about their characters studies and lines even before our usual rehearsal. They are improving every single day. I'm quite happy with their learning progress for now because they are begining to work very closely as a family. I've always tell them that this is a big family of ours and we should all learn to respect, cooperate and work with one another. We are ONE and our common goal is to see this family tree growing stronger and stronger.....
Yes, we do encounter lots and lots of problems along the way BUT I also tell them that we should all learn to solve those problems instead of creating even more problems.
Right now it seems like we have more than 10 over problems (not even settled, mind you) There are:
1) Punctuality
2) Attendance
3) Cooperation / Teamwork
4) Attitude towards Learning
5) Taking Initiative
6) Mentality towards Learning
7) Listening skill
8) Support and Encouragement from and to one another
9) Communication
10)Respect
And most recently......
11) BULLYING
This is the MOST SERIOUS of all and I'm not kidding.
Name calling, being disrespectful, and slapping is a big NO NO.
When such problems arise, do you know how upset I am?
Sometimes I wonder why should I care so much? I'm just an external instructor for God's sake. I should just mind my own business. However, I couldn't. I just couldn't. Because I have watch all of you grow and I really care for all of you. I do.
U may find me silly, giving myself all these unneccessary headaches and heartaches. But seriously, I can't help it. Sigh......
In today's reh, u know what I saw?
My whole ensemble was sitting down with my production team sewing and sewing and sewing their own costumes. It was such a beautiful sight. I was tearing inside me. It makes me want to work even harder (although I already am ;p) to make this musical an unforgetable one. A musical with such success that 30 years down the road, all of us will remember (hope so lah ;p)
Let us strive on even harder and prove to everyone that WE CAN DO IT! =)
