♥ Bye Bye Michael.....1958 ~2009
This morning, someone text me at 9.19am. I reached for my phone and it read, "Michael Jackson id dead!" My first reaction was, "WHAT???!!!!!" Immediately, I got out of bed, reached for Straits Times expecting the headline to be, "King of Pop Found Dead" or something like that. But no, no such news. Ok, maybe it was in
Life section. Eh, don't have also. Hmmm.....maybe it happened too late for the newspaper to get printed out. Alright then, I turned on the television, watched CNA and it was reported some world news. I screamed, "I DON'T WANT TO KNOW! I DON'T WANT TO KNOW! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!" Ah, CNA must have heard me. There, news on Michael...."Michael had an heart attack last night.....rushed to UCLA Medical Center....stopped breathing....pronounced dead at 2.26pm at age 50..." Aiyo aiyo aiyo....how like that, how like that??? HOW LIKE THAT!!!!!! Ok ok calm down calm down, he is not related to you. CALM DOWN. Ok, I need to tell my sister, I knocked on her door, opened it and said, "Michael Jackson is dead!!!" She looked at me with her half opened sleepy eyes and yelled, "Who cares!!" I went back to my CNA, switched to all possible channels reporting news...reporting Michael's news to be exact. I have NEVER watched so many news channels in 2.5 hours. Then, another sms came. It read,
A: Wow. Luckily we are not mad enough to buy MJ concert tickets.
Me: I also say! Haha! The first thing I heard about his news, I was thinking "Wah, lucky we didn't buy his tickets and the air tickets!"
A: What kind of "fans" we are? Hehe.
Me: Eh, but actually we plan to go there shop one right? Going to his conert was just an excuse.
A: Oops.
Yes, and there you go. For all the reasons we love this King of Pop. But his music and dance were really great and impressive. How can one not listened to his music? For most of us, we grew up listening to his songs. And for others, they were introduced to him. And for the rest, Michael is their soul. In some ways or another, we worshipped this one man. Borned 29 August 1958, left millions devastated on 25 June 2009.
